University Settlement

I collaborated with University Settlement as part of a interdisciplinary Pratt Institute project focused on improving learning environments for immigrant adult ESOL students in New York’s Lower East Side.

Through interviews, workshops, and research, I worked directly with students and staff to understand community needs and inform design solutions for the space. I was part of the branding and environmental graphics team from concept through installation, developing visual systems that strengthened identity, improved way finding, and created a more welcoming, supportive space shaped through ongoing dialogue with the community.
