"Lacking in Vitamin D" was created from a place of humor mingled with the frustration of enduring yet another harsh, snowy winter in upstate New York.
As the snow piled high and the gray skies seemed endless, I found myself yearning for the warmth of sunlight, aching for the simple joy of feeling the sun again. In those long, cold months, the idea of spring felt like a distant dream, a hope I clung to desperately. This piece expresses that longing, the desire to break free from winter's grip and bask in the soft glow of a season that seemed indefinitely far away.
